Save the Portland Oregon Gas and Coke Building

I have been enchanted by the Oregon Gas and Coke building since I was a child. All grown up, I am now an urban planner and landscape designer, and as such, I have become even more fascinated with this amazing building. We cannot build a structure like this with today's resources. It is a beautiful building right next to our majestic St John's Bridge. Please save this gem!!!

The coolest building I have ever laid my eyes on. Please do not tear down. Restore it so our children can see this beautiful work of art.

This is unique part of Portland's past. We cannot allow demolition of this building. Lets form s historic preservation group and contact SHiPPA to see if it qualifies fior status.

Always have loved this building....

I would miss seeing this building when returning to Portland from Sauvie Island or points beyond. It's not just the building itself, it's the cool view of it from up high, and the contrast with its surroundings. I would love to see it preserved.
