There should be a public vote before any public statue is ever considered to be taken down. We should have armed citizens to guard all public statues in our country against homeland terrorist.

Leave it alone. If people would research REAL history instead of inhaling the regurgitated lies that's been taught all these years they'd see the truth that the south wasn't fighting for slavery and the north wasn't fighting to abolish it.

If you don't like the statue don't look at it, that statue represents the history of those who died defending the south. Why don't you go find a statue of Martin Luther King and take it down those statues offend me!!!!!
