I am 60 years old, live near the Plymstock Inn.
I love the idea of live music in pubs, great social scene a reason to go out.
This way we support our local pub, the local community and the excellent musicians we have in Plymouth.

We can't loose another live music venue in this city! They're too important! They bring culture, get people off the sofa, stop them being glued to the idiot box and out socialising. The provide local musicians a place cut their teeth and perform. There's absolutely no upside to loosing yet another music venue in this city. I think it's disgusting that council has let so many go under. SAVE THE MUSIC AT THE PLYMSTOCK INN!!

For goodness sake you are taking the enjoyment out of living in Plymouth! Music is the soul of life, people should not buy houses next door to a music venue if they don't like the noise! they can always buy ear plugs!

It would be a great shame to take away another opportunity for young and old to do what they enjoy. Live music is a way of bringing us all together in a society that works too hard these days. Why take this simple pleasure away from the community?

It's hard enough for pubs to stay open already, they need to offer food and music. It's a wonderful venue for both. They also do what they can to keep the noise level down by sound proofing the windows and keeping the exit closest to neighbouring houses unavailable for use (except emergency) during live music. Live music needs outlets and this is a great one in Plymstock.

Please keep the live music at the Plymstock. Pubs have a hard enough time as it is to get clients and make a profit. Why bashed a pub that's doing well and giving Plymouth a fab night out. We need more live music venues not less!

If you're not a fan of living near a music venue because you don't want to be disturbed by the noise level, then don't move to a house next to or near one. I'm sick of people doing this and they shouldn't have the right to complain about it when it's their fault by making a stupid decision on where they live.

The pub has put on music for years, if people don't like it, they should not buy homes near a live ,music pub. They have a choice, if they choose not to exercise it, they should have to live with the consequences. Objections of people who choose to buy homes near an established live music venue, then complain about it being there should be totally ignored.

The pub was probably here long before the majority of residents even moved in.
There should be a degree of acceptance that places of entertaintainment will generate noise

One of my favourite pubs in Plymstock. Should be allowed to keep its live music. People shouldn't have moved there if they didn't like it.
