I spent half the morning looking at old photos of the ride and realized how many people have their own memories of that specific drop. It feels strange to think that something so iconic could just be gone because of some newer, faster slide, but I am still emailing the park management daily even if they keep ignoring my messages.

I honestly did not think so many people cared about holding onto The Plunge as much as I did when I started typing this up at my kitchen table. It feels surreal to see this momentum building because that slide really is the heart of the whole park and seeing you all jump on board reminds me why I started this whole thing in the first place.

I grew up riding this. Its iconic. Dont take away our history just to build another slide that will be outdated in 5 years.
Leave it alone. If its not broke dont fix it.
My kids and I have been going on this slide since I was a teenager. It isnt summer at Noahs Ark without it.
The Plunge is a classic! You cant just get rid of the best ride in the park for some generic new thing. Keep it!
Total bummer. Way too many memories on that ride to let them tear it down for a new gimmick.

TRASH. Quadzilla looks lame anyway. Keep the airtime machines please!!!
