Moreauville, Lousianna has recently voted to ban Pitbulls and Rotweillers. Families have just a month to either move out or hand their family pets over to the government to be euthanized. When are they going to blame the one on the other end of the leash? The dogs are always blamed and have to pay the price, it's not fair. Pitbulls rank number two for their temperment just shy of Golden Retrievers by The American Temperance Testing Society. They test for skittishness, aggression, and how they differentiate between threatening and non threatening situations. So what happened to these nanny dogs, known for their loyalty? Irresponsible owners, who neglect their dogs, breed them, abuse them and force them to fight, and all for money. Not to mention the overflow of these breeds in shelters, where most are euthanized and let's not forget the media who portrays these dogs as blood thirsty monsters, only showing one side of the story. How can we discriminate against certain breeds? It's time to fight back, time to show them that this is unfair and just sickening. We need to be their voice, we need to save them.
