WE ACTUALLY DID IT AND THE PICKNALL VALLEY IS OFFICIALLY SAVED FROM DEVELOPMENT!! THIS VICTORY BELONGS TO EVERYONE WHO REFUSED TO LET OUR VALLEY BE DESTROYED. STAY VIGILANT BECAUSE WE MUST KEEP WATCHING OVER OUR BEAUTIFUL LAND FOREVER!!
The Picknall Valley Preservation Group (PVPG) oppose any planning application to build in or develop the Picknall Valley in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, believing that the Picknall Valley should be protected and preserved for educational, agricultural and leisure uses, and oppose any development which would severely aggravate the dangerous levels of traffic on Bramshall, Stone and Holly Roads and which would inevitably destroy the picturesque and tranquil nature of the Bramshall Road Park.
Remember: When it's gone, it's gone forever!
Save this land there is enough new houses going up in and around uttoxeter. Need to concentrate on the town before we have any more properties being built..

Beautiful valley, loss of wildlife habitat would be CRIMINAL.
More Houses=more motor vehicles=more pollution and dangerous traffic. Town suffers overcrowded roads and rat runs already. Developers should try living with all this instead of doing the deed and then scarpering

There are too many houses in the row and not enough green spaces, also with the recent rains the importance of green areas and not more buildings with no where for flood waters to go is crucial

This is such an area of natural beauty in Uttoxeter....we must maintain it and not allow this development to go ahead, otherwise our wellbeing will be compromised, and we will regret this loss of nature in the area.
