It's a shame that they are trying to take facilities away that serve a purpose in our area and move them farther out of reach to the community. I hope this PETITION! gives the staff and the key leadership of those facilities the boost to keep them open, instead of taking the easy way out.

This pool has served the community for many years. Where else are schools supposed to hold swim meets? Somewhere in Pennsylvania, perhaps? This pool was the place that many people learned how to be lifeguards. A lack of lifeguards will make all swimming areas unsafe. Where are children supposed to learn to swim, particularly poor children whose parents can't afford to join a swim club? There was a piece on the radio this morning explaining how black children have a 66% higher rate of drowning deaths than white children. This facility would make a wonderful addition to the county park system. The people east of 206 certainly deserve parks that are close to where they live.

We need the pool to continue with our Special Olympics team. The friendships that started on this team are amazing.

Save the pool! There are so few and a place for swim lessons!! More advertising in the 30 mile radius may get more people to come to poil

With the shortage of functioning pools in the county,closing the BCC POOL would be a thoughtless act!

The pool is used by so many. Closing it leaves families and swim teams without sufficient options. Please do what you can to keep it open!

My 3 of my sons were on the RV Swim Team and that is where the HS swim meets were held. Many fond memories at the pool!❤
