Save the Pemberton Campus

They need to keep that pool open for our children and for special Olympic activities

Mr. Ali Housman and Mr. Cioce you should both be ashamed of yourself for deciding to close the original Burlington County College Campus in Pemberton Township. Doing this to the residents of Pemberton Township, not to mention the children of our Veterans at Fort Dix and McGuire Air Force Base was pathetic. What a very sad story. A slap in the face to the wonderful residents of Pemberton Township that supported this campus for almost 45 years. Pemberton Township needed your campus right where was. Moving 25 miles away has now made the task of attending much more difficult not to mention the Township residents that were employed there. It was all about the money. The Mount Laurel campus is surrounded by many of the wealthiest communities of Burlington and Camden County. Shame, shame, shame!! Not that closing the campus wasn’t bad enough, but now closing the pool is just another slap in the face to the people who have enjoyed this facility for so very many years. PLEASE Mr. Ali Housman and Mr. Cioce step up to the plate and listen to the pleas of the residents that have used this facility for years. Find a way to keep the pool open.

Save the pool! Where are the high school swim teams supposed to compete in the Burlington County area if the pool is shut down?! Many kids have learned how to swim here and older kids have been lifeguard certified. Shutting down the pool is equivalent to betraying the community!

Saving the complex would add to thr value of the community instead of detracting from it and creating blight. Please do the right thing for the local communities who supported this institution since it was BCC.

This is where I learned where to swim and spent a lot of my childhood, getting close with the staff. This place is vital within the community as it is used for swim meets for high schools, jobs as lifeguards for high school kids, where you can be certified to lifeguard and where many other events are held. We need this pool in the community! Please don’t close the pool!

I’m a high school swimmer and I want to be able to keep swimming in Burlington County.. all other pools suggested are in Camden! How can you have the Burlington County Scholastic League swam in Camden County.... crazy?!

Dont close the pool !! We need a pool in the community!! Thats only pool where the high school kids can practice. A bussy kid stay out of trouble !! We have enough delinquency in the area !!

We swam at bcc from Mommy and Me through lifeguard training. Learning to Swim is more than recreational, it is for safety. Please Keep this open to afford as many people as possible the Chance to be comfortable in the water.

Both of my girls were recently lifeguard certified at your pool. I had taken them there since they were babies for their swimming lessons.

Pemberton Township needs to keep any recreation open for the children that live here and offer more! Please keep the pool open!!

Currently use pool and coach masters Friday’s at 6am. Past 12 years.

So many of our local high schools rely on this facility for swim meets. Let's not forget how helpful the summer swim programs are for our children. Numerous children have learned to swim and save lives here as well. Thank you.

The pool has been great for us, and we would love to see it say open.

The Burlington County taxpayer has already payed for the services the pool provides. We shouldn’t have to pay again. Keep the pool open!
