As an alumni of Cal Poly Pomona and an Ag major who worked with the Arabians and other livesttock while there, I would be very disappointed if the pastures were turned into dorms and parking lots.

As an alum, I am extremely disappointed at the school's consideration of this. You can't build a good future by disregarding the past. Cutting the pastures out in this manner is a shortsighted solution that causes irreparable damage. The pastures are and important part of the school (and area's) past and present, and they should be shown more respect and protection than this.
