How can you have an agricultural program without a significant amount of agriculturally viable land?

No amount of pavement and parking can replace the experience students receive through Cal Poly's breeding program. We are loosing open space and pasture land at an alarming rate. Please leave this space for the students and horses.

i graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 1976. My greatest joy was to park by the pastures and watch the animals. Being a suburban kid, those days were some of the first time I ever touched a real cow, or lamb...please don't destroy those opportunities for us underprivileged urban/suburban kids. That was one of the reasons I chose to go to Cal Poly!! SAVE THE PASTURES!!!!
