My own 2 yr horse program is closing after this batch of students graduate 30+years. This school cannot loose its acreage. Horse program may follow in 10 yrs.

This truly makes Cal Poly unique and sets it apart. It was built on Kellogg's Arabian breeding facility and these pastures are a huge reminder every day of how our school came to be. To me it was my only place of peace and quiet from the ever busy libraries and engineering halls. I really hope this gets turned around before it is too late.

Do not destroy any more agricultural land on campus. Rethink the need for dorms. Do not destroy what is unique and special about Cal Poly Pomona.

Do you know how many families come on the weekends to visit those pasture horses? Do you know what those wonderful Arabians do when they see people? They come right over to the fence to be pet! They are such wonderful ambassadors! How many kids have been inspired to go to Cal Poly because of the horses! I know that's why I went there! Huge mistake! There are other options, they just need to rethink this!
