This would be taking away one of the main reasons why Cal Poly Pomona was founded. Please leave the pastures alone!

I am a Cal Poly alumni, 1983, B.S. Animal Science, Agri-business option. The plan to develope this apsture area for student dorms is ill advised at best. The maintenance of the Arabian Horse herd was one of the contingencies upon which the land was granted to the state for the university, and the descision to further reduce the pasture area greatly diminishes the viability of the horse program. I would strongly consider other options.

I have grown up watching the Sunday Arabian shows and seeing all the beautiful fields of Arabians. Cal Poly just wouldn't be the same without that huge part of the legacy of Mr. Kellogg!

When I was young My mom would always take me to the horse events at Pomona, she graduated from there herself.
