Cal Poly would not exist if it were not for the gift of his farm by W.K. Kellogg. it is my understanding that in giving his farm to the State university system that one provision was that the Arabian Horse breeding program be preserved. with that caveat in mind I think any action that will diminish or negatively affect the horse program should be discouraged and avoided.
