This is an important thing and it's even bigger that the community is taking an interest.

Please do not get rid of this beautiful pasture that has provided the educational tools for the students. It would disappoint me greatly to destroy something that destroys what cal poly is about. I am a foods and nutrition student.

Alumni, College of Agriculture, Plant Science Class of 2012. The pastures provide all those who pass them a break in the beat of a University settled in Los Angeles County. It serves the students studying Equine, and benefits those who are not apart of that field by providing a balance to all the structures around it. It is a great marketing tool for attracting new students to the college by having a unique attribute that distinctly identifies itself to its visitors, this is Cal Poly Pomona. Don't take away this attribute, to provide more housing. Yes, housing probably will make lots of money, but look at the opportunity cost. Taking away the pastures is a disservice not only the the Equine students, Ag students, but for the well being of all who spend time at CPP. I personally lived in the dorms, suites and the village. There are already great options for housing for students who want to stay near the school. This is not necessary. I humbly ask that whoever has power to make a compromise, or change of heart here, reconsiders removing pasture land for housing. Thank you.

Cal Poly is the only local school to offer an agricultural based education. This can't be done without the hands on experiences that are provided on campus.

keep the agricultural land. It shows a different lifestyle and the people that want to study will be on point on how humans beings and animals get along..

please do not take away the pastures of horses that taught me so much. Brood mares that get to graze and roam before they foal and run with their babies. The agricultural land is so important to educating all
