What a shame that this is even being considered. The ag department has already lost so many "hands on" classes since I graduated in 2008. SAVE THE PASTURES!!!!

I own Kelloggs Wildfire (1994). He's probably one of the best "well minded" horses I will ever own, beside a fantastic well adjusted trail horse with over 500 endurance miles. It is my understanding Mr. Kellogg willed this land and his Arabian herd to Cal Poly strictly for educational purposes, with the requirement that it remains for those purposes solely. Where is this in their plan?

Get land to build buildings and pave roads somewhere else. The land was intended to support livestock, not brick and cement.

The school needs to preserve the pastures for the ag stidents and the horse xenter.

This is an agricultural school, so preserve the land for the programs that rely on it. Exchanging pastures for concrete and asphalt seems counterintuitive to the mission of an agricultural college.

I attended I-Poly from 1995-1999. The horses in the pastures form a big part of my memories of Cal Poly, encouraging me to attend horse shows and teaching me about the history of both Arabian horses and the history of Cal Poly involving them. Without such obvious and prominent pastures featuring these horses others may lose out on this unique aspect of their campus.

This is terrible! The horses are what make the campus unique and what I considered home for many years
