There mast be a way to save this project and at least allow the farmer to apply for retention through the planning process.

I work locally in a petrol station and all the people I talk to about it are in favour of it staying. Support local investment and support local jobs. Someone said they had other renewable systems in planning stages like solar panels. Go green for Parteen.

I can see the wind turbine from my house and don’t have an issue with it. Local representatives shouting loudly for its removal do not represent us all.

This turbine project has received full planning permission and it has strong local support.
I have spent many years working in the energy technology field, and I'm fully convinced that we have to support and encourage local renewables projects like this one. To block them sends a terrible message to others. Please allow this project to proceed without any further delay.

Would much rather look at a wind turbine from my house than smog in 20 years time. Awful pity that the council and TD involved never engage with the under 40s who will have to face the repercussions of these actions in the years to come.

Due process followed with no objections - twice. Progressive clean energy solution contributing to our commitment to reduce carbon omissions, whilst sustaining local employment. Authorities recently compelled nearby company (~2 miles away) to erect turbine.
Yet it appears Trump-like political tactics have forced unacceptable backtracking and double standards by authorities. Another example of NIMBY/BANANA attitudes (Build absolutely nothing anywhere near anything)?
