Renewable energy is the way forward, I am looking at it from my house and see it as a reminder of how we need to mind our planet. Keep the Turbine.

Council is a corporation and has no right to remove the turbine, man is the highest authority on this land, and as the living man, i say they have no authority to remove it. The CEO of the council accepts the charge of One Trillion against his or her Cestui Que Vie Trust / Corporate Credit Account.

In a world where global warming is becoming a serious issue, where’s the logic in removing something that supplies clean energy and helps nature

Generating electricity & using it on site is the most efficient way to us this resource. In time the wind turbines will become an iconic land mark foe Parteen & surrounding areas. Also I can see the wind turbines for my house.

Anne Marie. Good point. One big reason for this is that the company is producing for the pharmacutical industry in europe. They want to see improved environmental production. Prior to this they generated electricity on site with a gas engine which is friendly but not as green as a wind turbine. They also also make 2 liter plastic milk cartons. However these are valuable and can be recycled. We need plastic. We jsut need to do it as well as possible and small steps in recycling and reusing.

I believe thats why there are trying to become more sustainable with wind and solar projects. Plastic unfortunately is a necessity and has to come form someplace, I would prefer it coming from here locally from a responsible company trying to make positive change instead of it being shipped half way around the world.

All for sustainability, but isn’t that argument a bit hypocritical coming from a company which produces plastic packaging?
