On 6th August 2010, the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey and Delta Airlines announced a $1.2 Billion plan to build a new terminal for Delta and demolish the old historic iconicPan Am Worldport terminal. The original Umbrella section will be replaced by a parking lot!

Flew out of that terminal in the 70s on my honeymoon. Such a shame to wreck something with that much style just for cars. Keep it standing.

Used to work ramp at JFK back in the day. That building is an icon for all us aviation guys. Stop the demo.

So sad to hear this news. My dad worked there for Pan Am and we always loved the design of the roof. Please rethink the parking lot plan.
