I grew up going to the paddocks like many children. It's not right to tear it down and give small children nowhere to be safe and play on canvey anymore. You could build anywhere else but why make kids suffer for it in the future?

I only went there last year for first time with the grandkids they had such a lovely time been really looking forward to summer to take them again

The paddocks play area has always been there for the parents to take the kids. I hope it's not being left to rot for more housing!!

How can this kids place not get up and running again the kids need somewhere to go and make happy times to look back on.
Been around for years don't give up on it X

There's nothing like this on the island for small children, do something worth while with our council tax and keep this area open for the children that benefit from it.

Love this facility, have used it since my 2 girls were born, happy to help with the clean up & re-decorating if needed.
Must stay open vital facility for many families in the summer months. So popular have to que to get in but love how cheap and enjoyable the days spent here are

Both my children and now my grandchildren have used the Paddocks pool and play area. It is a really nice safe environment which can even be improved further so please keep it open.

With the media and Government constantly highlighting the current dangers of obesity in kids and adults, why is an outdoor activity area not considered an ESSENTIAL expenditure?
