Please help save an American family owned business that has operated under one family since 1956!

Fast forward 58 years, When my father J.F. Qualls passed away he left a very simple will. Long story short I want to purchase the Overbrook and carry on my fathers legacy. I was born in a little house behind the business and began working there when I was 13 when my Grandfather deemed me a natural born mercantile man. After my fathers death A group of investors made an offer to purchase the store unbeknownst to me. At this time I need just about 6 more weeks to secure a loan equal to their offer to purchase my fathers life work. I ask that you join me in asking our honorable judge in Scott County Va to grant me a period of 6 weeks more to secure before mentioned loan. Its that simple, Support Local, Support Small, Support American owned, business in the United States! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Seeing 250 names on this list feels like a lifeline for my father's store. Growing up in the house behind the shop makes this fight for our history so deeply personal, and I am truly grateful for your belief in this legacy.

I've been coming here since I was a little girl & now I'm working here. this store wouldn't be "the Overbrook" if ita owned by anyone else other than a Qualls family member & john has ran it since his dad passed away! foster wouldn't want it any other way either! let's stick together and make a difference!

This store is something my grandad put his life into, until he died! It's also the only thing I have ever know, I've grown up in this store. Please help us keep this store in our family!

Have known the Qualls family for40 years and been buying my cigs and beer there for years. Foster was a good man. Let's help keep the Overbrook in American hands.

Please give this man the time he needs to secure the loan he needs to purchase his father's life work. We need to support small, local, America owned businesses!

Please let this man have a chance! It's America. In America, we start businesses with the hope that one day our children can continue with it. Let him have the time needed. Thank you.
