SF's "Transit First" policy is clear - SI has no right to block a transit/pedestrian-friendly vibrant farmers market for the sake of maintaining an overabundant volume of free public street parking so that people can more conveniently drive private automobiles to SI. The fact that this discussion is even going this far is absurd!

Some people may benefit from additional parking spots on Sundays at a private high school. Most if all people in the Sunset community would be devastated at the loss of a culinary, artistic, and community icon, especially one that arose during the pandemic we all endured. We need to find a solution that does not infringe on the well-being of the community in such a drastic manner, especially during this modern age.

This market is a happy space for so many families, young and old and the merchants are all soo nice and put their hearts in their products! The market definitely needs to stay open as an accessible public space
