Keep the Farmers Market and reopen the pool to the public. It's the least SI can do.

SI has been an unfriendly neighbor for years. They closed the pool to the public too. This is just the latest slap in the face to the neighborhood.

I want to express my support and great appreciation for the market. We spend each Sunday morning at the market with our two small daughters. We use this time to bond with our children, allow them to taste and select their own favorite produce followed by lunch and treats from various local vendors. Not only is this a source of joy for our family, it is a vital part of our community that helps support farmers as well as local businesses.
I hope you will help support our local communities by allowing the market to continue to operate in full capacity throughout the year. As we continue to see economic hardship from the long term effects of Covid-19 and continued signs of a possible recession it's so important - now more than ever to take into consideration the loss of income that will arise from the requested closure dates.

As an immediate neighbor of SI, we have accommodated the students' parking needs, and the sounds of outdoor athletic events. I am not bothered by these things - they speak to the vibrancy of our community that we share with the school. The farmer's market has been a stellar way to build a sense of community, support and appreciation for our fellow human beings in the Sunset and beyond (especially in light of the challenges of the pandemic). Surely SI can accommodate our needs as well. I sincerely hope we can find a way forward together.

This farmer’s market is vital to this community. SI does not own the public street in front of and adjacent to their school. There must be a compromise that can be reached to allow this market to continue. It is such a wonderful part of our neighborhood.

The market has been such a gift to my family and small children. What a delightful way to build community and support small business, many of them owned by BIPOC.

To St. Ignatius: please reach a reasonable compromise with the OSFMM. Perhaps a parking arrangement can be made with another school nearby, as happens during Outside Lands. Attendees at SI events can be dropped off near campus, and drivers can park 3-4 or 5 blocks away, just a few times during the school year. Best of luck to vendors, students, families, and farmer market attendees.

The Outer Sunset Farmer's Market & Mercantile has been such a fantastic and welcome addition to our Outer Sunset community that many of us take advantage of and enjoy. Taking this away and making this not viable for valuable vendors will be a detriment to our community.

Saint Ignatius administration, please listen to the community and show some humility by reconsidering your position. The neighborhood needs this market.

Sunday farmers market is a great way for the community to get together and support local businesses that may not be able to reach us in such a personal level.
