I am an Outer Sunset resident and I would love to continue enjoying the farmers market for as long as possible. Please preserve this local treasure!

St. Igna. does have the right to crumple and crush the Farmers Market just because it comes here to make a living. I live on Pacheco St. just across the site but I don't see any problem. I know these people (farmers) are struggling to bring their hard-labor products so they don't depend on hand-out benefits from the gov't. Stay strong.

As a native San Franciscan and Sunset resident, I have been visiting the Outet Sunset Farmers since its creation. I was excited to see true farm items, grown with great care, brought to our area. I've made many food discoveries as well, that has made me regular shopper at the market. Also supporting local growers and food makers, especially those that are true and passionate of their craft. I appreciate the generosity that Saint Ignatius has given by allowing the market to thrive and grow. I'm sure many of their alumni are frequent supporters of the market and are proud of the fact that their alms mater has been supportive of this community service since its infancy. Saint Ignatius is renown for nurturing some great, successful individuals and they must not break that cycle by ridding a very important service to the community - Outer Sunset Farmers Market & Mercantile! This is one way of living the Jesuit philosophy of 'helping others and seeking God in all things'. I'm not the best catholic and went to a local Sunset catholic grammar school and Mercy HS back in the day, but I believe you live what you breathe....

Welcome to the City, SI! Yep, parking is a challenge any day of the week. Why should the public suffer because of your private events? Pfft.

This attempt by a private religious organization is not an acceptable move. This market provides needed organic foods and goods to a varied population. The compromise proposed by the OSFMM is feasible and workable. I believe it should be adopted to everyone's beneft.

This is so disappointing as the farmers market is a big reason we moved our family to this location. We have only lived here for 8 months.

This market has meant so much to the neighborhood. It came when we all really needed it during the early days of the pandemic, and it’s now one of my favorite traditions here at home. Keep public streets public! Keep public spaces for the people, not the few! Save the Sunset Mercantile!

This is a splendid outdoor market, easily accessible, and has been a great addition to the Sunset - bringing new foods, brilliant cooking & flavors, great energy and vibrancy!

The market is the life of our neighborhood. I’ve come to know and supported so many local small businesses through it. Please do not take it away from us.

As new residents of the outer sunset, we were welcomed so warmly by the farmer’s market! We love all the stalls and would hate to see any have to removed. Multiple bus lines pass by; would suggest to SI that they encourage their visitors to take sustainable transit in the ethos of stewardship for God’s creation.

This is such an important part of the community in the Sunset. Love thy neighbor as yourself, SI.
