The Outer Sunset Farmers Market & Mercantile is in Jeopardy!

The market is a great community asset. We attend nearly every week.

As a vendor and resident of the Sunset, we value this farmers' market so much. It's helped my small business and others survive during Covid, and it's such an important staple in the neighborhood for everyone to have access to fresh produce and to support local makers and restaurants. Reducing or closing the farmers' market would be detrimental to our business and to the Sunset community as a whole.

Keep this community asset alive!!

Please find a way to keep the garments market going on Sundays in the outer sunset. It is such a wonderful asset to our growing community.

The Farmer's Market is a beloved amenity which serves the entire community and beyond. Those blocks are public space, and this member of the public wants the market to remain there and thrive.

Thanks Carol! They don't pay taxes and they utilize the streets for parking all week. They also promised to make the pool available for the public - and they have conveniently used COVID as an excuse to keep it closed while making their teachers work onsite. Now they are conveniently using COVID as an excuse to say - since COVID is waning we need the street back. They don't pay for street repair or access. They can use or a cab.

The community enjoys this market very much.

We love having a farmers market within walking distance for our family with small children. Please keep this community event going for the neighbors!

We attend the market every Sunday and would be very sad to see it go. It’s not only a place to buy our weekly groceries but a great way to spend family time and connect with our community.

Save the farmers market! This is where I buy my fresh local produce! Local residents and vendors rely on this!

The sunset already struggles to have a place where artists can display their work. It’s imperative that this market remain to provide a space for the artists community.

This market is essential for the neighborhood! The school can and should be able to negotiate like adults.

My dad, SI class of 1932, would be outraged by this.

I support OSFMM, please keep this vital market open and help support our local vendors. SF streets are public and SI is rather self centered in not even trying to sit down and discuss options that could benefit both parties.

It's out of the way and adds quite a bit to the community. I can't possibly see what issue is
