The extinction of the Platypus

Hello my name is Thomas. I am a student in Nicaragua. How can I care about a concept that is all the way in australia? Some people may say well, if they ruin Australia's wild life, how can we guarantee our country won’t be next? People trying to relocate them might think they are doing good, but they are doing more harm than help. The platypus is a combination of a duck’s bill, otters feet, beavers tail, mammal that lays eggs, and to add it all up they (males) have a venomous spine at their ankles. According to Davies, 30% of the platypus population will die by 2070, that might seem like a long time, but they have lived since the dinosaurs years, compared to that 55 more years is nothing. Well not much to the race of the platypus they are the last of their genetic kind (no animal relatives). Helping the animals will help the ecosystem by throwing the food chain back on track.

The reason they are in danger of extinction is the lack of trees cleaning the atmosphere replenishing the ozone there have been other Australian cases of extinction like the tazmanian devil, but no, people agree with deforestation and the outcome of that is toxic chemicals ripping a hole in Australia ironically the only place where platypuses can live.

Not only deforestation, oh no, we also have people obsessed with money are illegally drilling in platypus habitats and what's more the ozone hole is getting bigger by the minute. Those drillers are ruining the world!!!
