This building is a historical icon in Apia, there are so few buildings left in Samoa of historical significance it’s a shame to eliminate one of the few that are left.

Yes...my grandfather, Mata'utia Karauna, the Secretary of the Mau Movement and Band Leader was amongst those who fought for Samoa to be Independent. This building has significance to the blood shed of our forebears. Save it, please! It will be a constant reminder of a place that ended some precious lives, and the beginning of a new Samoa.

As a tourist who’s fell in love with Samoa, hence our 5 trips there, one thing we love is the history and the culture. Please don’t destroy part of a culture that we adore.
