This building is apart of our heritage, our culture, our history. This played an important part of our history it deserves to stay standing as it is more important than a hotel that can be built several meters going North, East, South or West.

This is our history, this is apart of who we are as Samoans today. Going with the new just to get rid of the old is absurd. The old building referred to by the PM of Samoa is the building people voted in for Samoa's Independence. It's important for our people to understand and accept their history when they can physically see and imagine what the mau movement had to go through so we could be where we are today in life. Save it for the sake of us Samoans and not destroy it for the satisfaction of tourism, our island is naturally beautiful the way it was many years ago, even til today.
