The problem is pollution in oceans, there are millions if not billions of plastic trash swimming through the oceans.

It's affecting wildlife, polluting water supplies and affecting us. It's a man made problem, so we're the only ones who can fix it. For example, local food markets are full of seafood and fish, well scientists are saying that at least 2/3 of all fish species have eaten plastic. Now, these fishes are ending up in stores, markets and restaurants WE'RE EATING PLASTIC!! Not only that but scientists also predict there'll be more plastic than FISH In the oceans by 2050. For the sake of ocean wildlife and to stop humans from digesting plastic its time we take a stand and have our government help! There are multiple Non-profit organizations helping the cause like Ocean Conservatory and #TeamSeas, but I believe its time WE THE PEOPLE stand up and ask our government to help as it is an everyone problem.

If the US starts to show interest and puts funds to clean the oceans, possibly other countries WILL TOO!! So please let's save the Ocean Wildlife and not slowly kill off ocean wildlife as plastic pollution is affecting us all.

That's why I propose that we (everyone) and our government stand up and cause a chain reaction by funding a new program to help extinguish Plastic Pollution in oceans. If we start this other countries may do the same.
