New seawalls typically cause harm to the landscapes on both sides of it. Much better to re-build the existing wall as it's already tried and true. The new wall would be a wildcard, and there's no telling exactly the impacts it would have on surrounding properties. Better safe than sorry!

This is a perfect opportunity to save some local businesses AND save the taxpayers several MILLION dollars! Mr. Finnegan's proposal should be accepted without question!

the proposed wall is a band-aid on arterial bleeding and will adversely impact businesses while completely missing the mark in terms of preventing further erosion.
