The shoreline of Matunuck has been altered for decades. The choice of how to preserve its current state and prevent further damage needs to have the interests of the citizens directly impacted at the forefront. It's disheartening to see government turn a blind eye to a no cost solution that benefits the impacted community, especially in the age of government austerity.

The Ocean Mist is a landmark restaurant of South Count. It is the only place you can cure a hangover with a good bloody, great meal and a dip in the ocean, all in one. Matunuck would not be the same without this spot. Tearing
