i grew up right next to the beach and this place is what got me through some pretty tough years...I would be devastated if this part of my life was removed

I am wholeheartally opposed to DEM's plan and support the owners of the Ocean Mist who are put their own money into a plan that will work.

The State of Rhode Island should listen to its tax paying citizens and the host of tourists who frequent these establishments. The right thing to do is to allow Mr. Finnigan to build the wall himself, especially as he is prepared to incur all of the costs, giving the tax payer a much deserved break for a change. The State should respect the hard work and devotion put in over the years by these business owners. These are two historic and iconic Rhode Island landmarks. We should treat them as such. Show common sense, compassion and simple human decency and do the right thing. Save The Ocean Mist and Save Tara's Pub!

The Ocean Mist is as much a part of summer in Matunuck as is ice cream at Vanilla Bean and a play at Theatre by the Sea !
