The westin knew what they were getting into. This is a classic case of corporate bullying that must be stopped! Austin was fine before the Westin came so if it bothers them so much they should just shut their doors!

Poor planning on a large corporations end does not equal loss of venue/music/jobs/money for very thing that has brought people to this city for years. The Westin can leave. The Nook stays.

I will not support a hotel that is trying to sue a local business that was there first. The claims they make have not been proven and any evidence is actually in favor of the bar. This city will not stand for anyone trying to take away from what makes Austin, AUSTIN.

How dare you build a shoddy high rise hotel in downtown Austin, and then complain about the music?

I love the NOOK and have been going there for years. It's an awesome venue and brings a huge part of tourism to Austin during South by Southwest.

I work for WLS and we knew exactly where we were building this hotel when we built it.

Austin is no longer the live music capitol when you allow live music venues to close their doors. Stop following the corporate dollars or there will be no more live music to enjoy!

Being an austin musician that makes his living playing music I find it supremely important to protect the heritage of the downtown Austin music scene.

I love The Nook and hope it remains open. I hate seeing our city destroy what it is famous for, which is live music. I have played shows at this venue multiple times and have seen amazing artists perform here with a full house! This place must stay.
