The Indian is a well-respected symbol of our school. It represents a strong, brave warrior. We are proud of that and no disrespect exists.

This is a disgrace! I didn't even go to Napa High, class if 1977 Vintage, but my sisters did, and so did my daughter. The Napa Indian is a staple of this High School.

Please leave the Mascot as is. It is in no way a derogatory thing.

I am class of 1965. I love our Indian Mascot and have always had great pride as a Napa High Indian. I am also a registered Cherokee Indian and want to see it kept. It represents 120 years and would love to keep it going. Go Indians!

Have some pride and leave the mascot alone! I am Native American and do NOT find it offensive! I find the boards pandering to a few offensive. Leave our beloved mascot as it is and should be.

The Indian mascot has been a source of pride for generations of Napans. It is in rememberance of the Valley's first settlers. This change is being shepherded through to appease an outspoken minority of outside agitators.
