Being a Napa Indian was always an honor not a slight against our indigenous people. Just as being a Viking or a Fighting Irish also makes other schools proud. I see no reason to change tradition because a current trend to be offended by anything and everything.

Our mascot has ALWAYS been a symbol of the utmost respect and honor towards our Native Americans. It would be devastating if we lost it. Why can't people see that? We are keeping their legacy alive. Let us never forget.
