It is not politically correct to destroy a tridition, nor an icon. The American Indian Chief shows the highest regard for their amazing heritage.

Most Indians do t call themselves native. They. All themselves INDIANS it is a name given to the strong people that survived being attacked

Although I wasn't a graduate of NHS due to health complications, I think having the High School Mascot as an Indian should cause no harm.

This is OUR school mascot that is loved by most Napa High students. shame on board for having too much idle time. Be more constructive!

Respect the tradition. Example is that mascot on floor at entrance of District Auditorium is not to be stepped on.

Keep our mascot!!!! Both of my kids graduated from Napa High and both were involved in sports and band. They walked a little taller and prouder because they were Napa Indians!!

I am of native decent and I see no problem with it. Only problem maybe the headdress for the mascot, other then that, we have had this mascot for 120 years and I would love for my kids one day to continue the tradition of being a Napa High Indian. Like they've always said, once an Indian always an Indian. Save our mascot!
