This is so stupid I can't believe it. The school board should be recalled enmasse if they go for this politically correct fiasco.

I'm a 2012 grad. And I'm also a Native American and that fact that there are people that beleave the mascot is offensive to Indians is just crazy I actually felt more connected to the school just because the mascot was an Indian and so was I It made me feel like I was at the right school for me and I was proud to call my self a Napa high Indian And some one needs to look in too who is actually making the clams that the mascot is offensive because I'm %100 sure you won't find one Native American that feels that way

I'm so tired of this stuff getting rid of mascots, Christopher Columbus day, P.C. GET OVER IT ! We have home less vets, a shrinking middle class, teachers who buy supplies out of there own pocket and a lot of other problems in this great country to worry about Indian mascots!!!

Many family and friends and I have graduated from Napa High. We honor the American Indian, and especially the Napa tribe who inhabited the valley before the white man came. We believe that by retaining this 120 year old tradition, we continue to honor those Native Americans.

I am completely against changing our mascot the Napa High Indians. I am the second generation to graduate from Napa High, my children are third generation and my greats are fourth. We all proudly walked around the mosaic Indian in the floor with great pride and respect.

Class of 1986. Please save our mascot. This is so upsetting. You are erasing our history.

1964 Alumni, the current school board has no passion whatsoever for the history of Napa High School. It truly appears to me that the board is covering their asses by being politically correct in today's environment!
