Class of 1969 The name Napa High Indians was always a respectful one. It always was. Lately being PC has reached stupid heights. Where will it end?

The Indian mascot has been our symbol for so many generations. There is no reason to change it now. Instead of the negative thoughts everyone should be proud we chose the Indian to represent us.

NHS Indian is our Johnson Family Blue and Gold Heritage.... Never to be removed.... we were all raised to respect and honor all races , religions, and racial heritages.

As the president of the Napa High Decades of The Sixties I have been receiving much input on this subject. Granted it is not 100% but it is almost 90%. I have always worn the title of Napa High Indian with pride. I have not checked the background on the committee but would have absolutely no respect for anyone casting an abolish vote who had not walked in our shoes.

Graduate of Napa High Class of 71 How far is political correctness going to be taken before we lose too much of our country's history and heritage!

The Indian mascot is a proud and honorable mascot for Napa - keep political correctness in its context - I suppose we can't celebrate Xmas because it might offend someone ??

This logo has always been respectful. I have talked to several of our Native classmates, and none of them have a problem with this picture. Please do not change our h.s. legacy for some mis-guided attempt at correcting a non-problem.
