Nvusd needs to grow a back bone and listen to the people. If the mascot changes I encourage doners to find a new cause to support

I woukd like to see the indian mascot retained, I graduated from Napa High in 1970, my brother, sister, nieces, nephews have all been indians. Most important my 88 year old mother graduated from Napa High, considers herself an indian and wishes to see the mascot saved.

Keep the Napa High Indian Mascot! I'm am very proud to be a Napa High Indian. The Napa High Indian has always been a sign of honor, pride, and strength. As a 1970 graduate of Napa High, to this day, I still feel the great honor to have been part of the Napa High School and its mascot.

This is a beautiful symbol and should remain as is. Stop changing our history and leave what is as is. Not everything needs to be changed.

Once again we fight to keep the history of ourselves from destruction. Is there no respect for anything left? If only you put that much energy into keeping and revering things of age and value; human or otherwise . . .

As a Native American, (Choctaw Tribe) I find it dishonorable to remove any form of mascot that has been in place for multiple decades. Especially when there has been no intent to dishonor the Native American. I view it as a honor because of what the Indian symbolises that of being brave, courageous, and industryous. I am honored that I am a graduate of the Napa Indians.
Sincerely yours,
Larry S Gray, Judge of the Circuit Court
