Class of 71-This was never a disrespectful symbol for the school. This was a symbol of pride.

Trying to erase history is futile, wrong and expensive. Our mascot is not depicted as a cartoon or make believe frivolous character. It was and is a proud symbol of those who came before. Many of the students attending Napa High were Native (Indian) or mixed blood so the symbolism was especially looked on with pride.
Leave it alone.
