Reading the comments it seems agreed this is PC "garbage", a Mr. Johns' comment that a "professional agitator from New York" has been strongly involved in this process....NOT an Napa, NOT a past student, JUST an agitator. There are comments from concerned to fight this; we need to, not by having the meeting April 6th, by reaching an attorney/judge, someone with power that isn't part of PC parade.
Anyone have a suggestion?

Please know The Napa Indians is all about respect and bravery - nothing derogatory as some with try to claim. Plus it's WAY to expensive to change over a small group's protest

Who came up with this idea?
Did they attend Napa High School?
How long have she/he lived in Napa?
ALSO: We who are standing firm against removing "Our Indian Mascot", we went to Napa High, "walked around" the respected Indian head! The original Napa High School building is currently the administration offices, the Napa High students attend north of Napa High where the Napa Junior College was. It appears to me there's no attachment with these students and "Our Indian Mascot" along with whoever is trying to remove it and "Our cherished" memories. 120 years.......grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren.

The word Indian stands for honor, respect, pride, family... words change with time. Indian today at Napa high is the modern meaning, not the meaning from another century. Nicely done. Changing a negative into a positive. Thank you
