The Tiny House movement is just getting started. It provides an option for people who otherwise could not afford a home, and for people who want to enjoy life and not be slave to a huge mortgage. It's time for local government to update their zoning laws to recognize Tiny Houses as a viable housing option.
This home is very appealing and the property around it is well kept. The owner of the property has no problem with this tiny house being there, so what exactly is the city's problem!!! LET THEM STAY! IT'S TIME TO UPDATE YOUR ORDINANCES out of the stone age .. not only Ripcon, but all communities!

Ironic, that Ripon, the birthplace of the Republican Party, is trying to squash a couple trying to have freedom of choice in a residence. Use some common sense. This isn't like two house on a 1/4 acre lot.

As chairman of the city of Ripon's Zoning Appeals Board, I have to believe that there is a solution other than throwing these folks off the land.

We should be commending this family for living with minimal impact to the city and environment, not evicting them. Discourage urban sprawl; ENcourage tiny houses.

Please stay out of the way of families and individuals who are living life they way they want and not hurting anyone or being a burden to any kind of system. Not every one has to do things the same way.

People need to recognize the usefulness of the Tiny House Movement not only financial-wise but also the benefits it holds for the environment and urban planning.

I think it would be neat to tour a tiny house diffently of a family of 4 woundering how a famiky of 5 or 6 would be able to do it

It is on wheels. Why can it not be considered as a camper. It is towable. Come on 20 acres and someone has to complain. I think there are better things to be concerned about then this.
