If the property was owned by a private party they would not be allowed to destroy this space. Just because they can as a city do it, doesn't mean it's right. Find a better spot for the courts that could have better access and parking for the court system

We have been coming to Dance Flurry every year for many years, and most particularly enjoy dancing in the very special venue of the historic Saratoga City Music Hall. We typically stay in one of your historic B & B's and are attracted to this annual event for its historic ambiance and those dances held in the Music Hall with its beautiful wooden floors which are so important for a body-friendly dance experience. Please save the Music Hall for dance/music events and find another location for court functions.

The Saratoga Music Hall is a precious space for performance and dance. It is irreplaceable in today's dollars. Please don't lose this space to a short-term demand for more offices.

The historic, social and spiritual significance of the Music Hall should valued more than the intended purpose, for which other locations can certaily be found.

This is so incredibly important to my sister (a Skidmore student, well-invested in the local music scene) and to many in Saratoga!

I travel as often as I can to dance in this particular space. Please find an alternative place for the court house and their offices.

A beautiful room, great floor, terrific venue for dancing...all of which make the heart full and the spirit grow. Saratoga needs its Music Hall; please save this joyful place!

Really? You are going to squander a community treasure for another court room? Really?

This is a beautiful public space used for many activities. The historical significance is a fact and the ability to gather a great number of people for entertainment or education is a treasure that should not be lost.

The hall is the oldest in New York - and servers the community. Why would the city destroy it for sub-optimal space for a court, when courts are generally not even in city halls? This decision was wrong on so many levels.

This is a wonderful historic building, which still houses traditional dancing on the Flurry Weekend. Please keep it!

This hall is not only a part of Saratoga's history, but is a part of my personal dance history. Too many of our cherished dance halls with their great acoustics and lovely wood floors are succumbing to "modern" thinking and architecture. We must embrace these traditional buildings for future generations.

Please don't take away the Music Hall! The space is wonderful & is used for many events. It's unique. Spaces like this are disappearing all the time. It's used by many local groups & lots of people come to this area to dance here. Please try to find other places for the offices & court.
Please keep this space as a dance hall, it is loved across North America.
