This petition is to prevent Monticello City leaders from allowing the Monte Club Hill to be sold and developed.  The Monte Club Hill is an iconic landmark that should and will be preserved despite the city's efforts to turn a profit or to fulfill the Mayors personal needs. It's every Montiello Residents right to petition against the city and this is an immediate issue that every resident needs to take to heart. We are looking for 5,700 residents to take part in said petition and to flood the city council meeting once we reach our goal. To preserve the Monte Club Hill we are proposing the city to make it a park for local and non-local residents to enjoy the beautiful landmark.
