we are getting so close to the 250 mark and i really want us to hit it before we send this over to the commission. keep spreading the word because the pressure is working and they are definitely starting to notice.

i honestly cant believe how quickly this took off. seeing so many people speak up for our neighborhood really shows that we all value the history here. lets keep this energy up when we head to the meeting.

I am a current resident of Middle Haddam, former resident of the Middle Haddam Historic District, property owner within the local historic district, and former historic district commission member and officer. I am currently serving on Connecticut's Historic Preservation Council and have first hand experience with rural residential historic districts that allow commercial creep within their boundaries. Once it begins it does not end and the character of the historic district is negatively and permanently compromised. Please join me in taking a stand to deny this zone change for Middle Haddam. Thank you!
This is an area with wonderful history that goes back to the 1600's. Please keep it that way.
Lived here for 20 years and hate seeing these changes. Once you change the zoning there is no going back. Please say no to this application.
Middle Haddam is so beautiful just the way it is. We dont need more commercial buildings cluttering up our quiet streets. Leave it alone.
KEEP IT RESIDENTIAL. This zone change is a bad idea for the traffic and the whole vibe of the area. DONT DO IT.

The Hallberg family has had a presence in Middle Haddam for close to 150 years. I think we know what’s best for this village and commercial is not it! Please do not allow this. Rich Hallberg
