I Love this place!! I booked my husband and I our first wedding anniversay here and we enjoyed it so much that we told our friends and they booked for their first anniversary as well. I also have other friends and family that go here for their special days of their lives. This place is more than a restaurant, it is part of our lives filled with laughter, great food and so much memories. Please do not stop us from making more of these memories.

The Melting Pot is a staple of Ocala. The owner is making a big mistake with not renewing their lease. They have been paying tenants for years. Not many restaurants make it downtown, a BBQ place in the square is a terrible idea.

This is a unique dining experience in comparison to what Ocala has to offer. We need to keep diversity here, because that is what drives people to other cities. The owners are also great people and I know seeing a bunch of support would show them that their business is meaningful enough to take the time out to do this!

The Melting Pot has been our special occasion go-to for years. There is not another restaurant like it here in town. More BBQ means less funding , we have three too many new BBQ places. I urge you to consider how that will effect your tenant and yourself in the long run.

The last thing downtown needs is a BBQ place. We have lots of them and some off those are not doing so well as it is. If my information is correct the resturant that would go there is not the greatest BBQ anyways.

Melting Pot brings such class to downtown Ocala and is such a fun and neat alternative to traditional restaurants. It was sad finding out it was going to close. I hope locals will all pull together and show live for this great place!
