Save the Manatees! Remove the Lock.

GOD-willing, all manatees will be saved.

So sad the Government is Knowingly Killing Manatees. Please tell your neighbors the Government is at fault here and the Horrific Tragedies is Governments responsibility Stop this Madness, Remove the Lock FOREVER! Do it NOW! Be Responsible

We were almost severely injured going thru the lock recently and damaged our boat. The current is treacherous and something has to be done asap.

Based on the lock being open for more than 12 months now and the fact that there hasn’t been any adverse environmental issues I see this as the most humane decision for the wildlife (Manatee population) in the area.

The locks sound pretty useless now. Take them out. The manatees seem pretty lovable!

The Chiquita Lock needs to be permanently removed. It serves no purpose.

I agree to remove the lock for all the reasons given above. I live about a mile in past the lock, and I am a boater. We have fought the log jam withs boats long enough. Remove the lock
