Its a bit of colour in an otherwise unremarkable crossroad. The idea that this side of the crossroad is the thing that should be cleaned up, not 123 cleaners over the road is laughable.

Splash 2 is a stunning and vibrant artwork and has had a positive impact on the neighbourhood and its establishment as a vibrant area. Please do not remove it. It would be a terrible shame.

Public art is part of a cultural legacy. It should be an honour to display the work of an internationally known contemporary artist. As an advertising manager and an owner of FinDAC work, this is not advertising and it is positively beautiful.

It's a decorative bonus to Elgin Avenue/Shirland Village. WCC Planners should commend this local initiative and focus their enforcement efforts on eye-sores like the painted-over squalid windows of former restaurant premises at 119 Shirland Road. Not only does it look squalid, the owner has converted shop premises into flats over two years ago, illegally. Rubbish from many tenants of this property is left outside the building daily. Truly a "negative visual impact" on an upmarket parade of shops. WCC, you cannot ignore this flouting of your regulations by 119!
