If the funds have been raised by LOSBC Support Group it is surely grossly unfair to the students to stop offering rowing.

Such a good thing for young adults to be involved in. If the funding obligation is taken away from the school, I cannot understand why dropping it would be considered at all.

It is important to keep this going for the younger boys coming up through the school.

I hope it is possible to keep rowing going as an option at LOS. Best wishes, John Garrett.

It would be outrageous to do away with this excellent sports club

Rowing is great opportunity for the boys. If parents have found the funds, please let it continue.

It is not right that a sport that has become so successful at London Oratory School, which so many boys have enjoyed and from which they benefit enormously is not receiving the fullest support from THEIR school instead of having the rug pulled from beneath their feet - the boys love it, the parents are ready to support it, and the rowing world is better for seeing a state school succeeding at the highest levels. The boat club and the boys that make it up should be applauded, supported, and held up as an example to be admired, not undermined and conspired against. This is not right and sets a very poor example to pupils of how to behave. They deserve better. It's not too late to right a wrong.

As the LOSBC's supporters have raised the funds, the decision should now be reviewed.

Rowing is a great activity which supports fitness but also individual development, cooperation and team-building and a love of the outdoors...

Rowing is more than just sport. It changes young and old people's lives in so many ways. Just let me know if you would like more info or evidence.

School is about much more than academia and the rowing club is a valuable and worthy part of the London Oratory School. Please do seriously consider keeping this.

Such an important part of these boys' lives and an activity that has enhanced their fitness , trained them to work as apart of a team and also to feel included and proud to be part of their school.

Once again young people get conflicting messages. Constantly being told they need to get out and exercise more, that obesity is costing the country billions etc., then they find opportunities to take part in sport is being limited to save money. The LOS governors need to stop just looking at the bottom line and start being creative in how fund things like rowing,
