The best experience I had at ACCD! I was not an illustration major, but it was just as useful for me. This program helped me grow as an artist and an individual. It allowed me to expand my outlook in art, design and culture. Lets do the right thing... save the London Ancient / Modern.

Part of growing as an Illustrator is traveling the world, and seeing not just American design but international design as well. We pay so much for the school and we should have the option/opportunity to study abroad like most college campuses

The London Ancient/ Modern trip was also a trip that I looked forward to after being accepted into Art Center. To be deprived of this amazing opportunity as an illustration major is what I believe to be a great diservice to students.

I haven't been to the London study abroad program, but I do know that it is a very important program to all past, present, and future student. This program has been with us for a long time and it is concerning to us that "this program" will be cut out from our education. What will happen now, if the rest of the program is cut off, then? We won't get any cultural, over-wordly experience that 90-95% of us need in order to experience a real-life situation in the art and design world. The news really disappointed me; as do all other students and alumni who are in shock from the turn of event. That is not fair to us and that is not fair to our upcoming students.

Current students deserve the experiences previous students have recieeved, especially with ever increasing tuition

One of the single most enriching experiences of my Art Center career. Leaps and bounds above pretty much any class. As long as Ann and Clive want to utilize their unique connections to give students an all access tour of the city, they should be encouraged and supported by the college.

We pay thousands of dollars a term, and there are fairly limited study abroad programs as is right now - let us keep the ones we have!

Please keep this class going. It was one of my favorites while at Art Center and it has only made me a better artist and person.

To the Art Center Administration: The London: Ancient/Modern Study-Abroad program is an INVALUABLE and UNIQUE experience in the young life of an artist and designer. I believe STRONGLY in this program and am saddened to hear of this cut in the Illustration Department where future students, open to all majors, will not be given the chance to benefit unless this decision is overturned. London was a MAJOR highlight in my art and design education as I had many epiphanies on the trip taking in all the sights, sounds and tastes the robust city had to offer. The program strongly impacted my portfolio and the way I view art, design, culture, and travel, enduring throughout the duration of the trip and many months after. It also gave me the confidence to present my work in front of gracious, major industry professionals--a GOLDEN opportunity I was fortunate enough to have, and would not have accomplished on my own doing! The project I created in the class gave me a plethora of knowledge on contemporary culture, hence giving my portfolio DEPTH. It is one of my strongest pieces I am exceptionally proud of to this day--one of my images was featured on the website, Fashion Finishing School. Please save this program for the future of educational growth and development! Respectfully submitted from a concerned Alum, Taleen Keldjian ILLU ‘14

This was an amazing experience. It would be a damn shame to deprive so many future students of having this opportunity.
