We were members for years when our children were toddlers through middle school. The pool is an important part of a child’s summer experience. Keep it open!!

The pool is a great asset to our community. My family has always loved it. Pickle ball can go somewhere else.

im concerned about noise and i believe there are plenty of courts planned already in the lionville area. The pool is for kids mostly. they can not travel to the other ymca locations as the y suggests they do. it is Lot easier for adults to drive to those locations and other close ones for pickleball opportunites.

Swimming is a life saving survival skill! When people spend the day poolside they have fun with others and are motivated to learn to swim! And let’s face it people don’t hang out at the indoor pool for the day. Our pool brings us together. Parents of kids that go to school together have a chance to meet and better yet so do parents not in school at all!!
Also, Pickleball is loud! The popping sound is really rough for residents that live nearby. It’s new but who is to say it’s here to stay? Yes it’s fun but can’t accommodate the quantity of members nor does it bring the community together for fun and conversation the same way.

I know that the "survey says" is one of the reasons why they are going to fill it in. I think that they need to redo the survey and specifically ask about this pool.

What a shame! I used to enjoy using the pool, with my grandkids.
Service at the Y needs to improve. Keep the pool.
